Marco • Hideaway Beach

This comprehensive design transformed an awkward, open-concept space into distinct, purposeful rooms defined by architectural ceiling details. The main living area presented a unique obstacle — perimeter soffits necessary to house air conditioning ducts — but there was no clear definition between the dining, living, and kitchen spaces. Now, individual drop ceilings at varying heights clearly define each space while maintaining visual flow.
Custom built-ins start at the entryway and flow through the living room entertainment center to a comfortable dining banquette and furniture-like bar. Floor-to-ceiling opposing angular walls sit behind the television, wrapped in two textured wall coverings for depth; the specialty lighted wall covering beyond turns it into an illuminated art wall.
Meanwhile, the dining banquette features mirrors surrounded by architectural trim and padded upholstered cushions, creating a cozy nook hangout. Fluted bar cabinetry holds liquor while hanging glass and brass shelves showcase crystal glassware.
What was once an undefined box is now a collection of beautifully crafted spaces that work in concert— proof that exceptional design lies in the details.
