Portfolio details
Converting a dated “Tommy Bahama” home to a transitional style is easy with the right interior design and contracting team and value driven ideas. Addressing the kitchen and family room cabinets first, the high-quality wood faced cabinets were painted transforming both rooms to beautifully lighter spaces. Herringbone glass tile is featured on the backsplash in a serene aqua/blue color scheme. Removing the dated wood hood and replacing it with a sleek stainless one completes the more modern look. Soft, comfortable furnishings in updated fabrics and colors along with patterned window treatments complete the peaceful, calm, transitional look.
Outdoor living is paramount to winters in Florida. A newly designed summer kitchen accommodates lounge chairs to watch the chef prepare while relaxing and enjoying the greenery beyond. A second seating group surrounds a large television perfect for entertaining and watching the game.
All in all, a true retreat for these snowbirds to enjoy a little rest and relaxation.
