The old adage, “what’s old, is new again” rings true with the return of gold and bronze to design applications. Not the shiny brass of the ‘80s, the application tends to be much more subtle thanks to satin finishes, deeper hues and selective use in hardware and lighting fixtures. It’s dramatic and rich without crossing a line. When done right, golds can successfully be paired with other metallic finishes as well. So even if you’re not ready to leave chrome or stainless behind, you can trend in the best way possible.
